IMS OBJECTIVES

  • Comply with ISO 9001:2015 & 14001:2015 requirements, applicable legal requirements and other
  • requirements to which the company subscribes which relates to its environmental aspects.
  • Regular gathering and monitoring of customer feedback.
  • Ensure that the EMS & QMS Policy is actively communicated to all employees and other stakeholders.
  • Have a customer complaints procedure and promptly deal with customer feedback, complaints or any
  • form of non-conformity.
  • Continuously monitor and regularly review Company environmental performance, to ensure
  • protection of the environment.
  • Periodically review and update the Environmental Management System to ensure it remains effective.
  • Selection and performance monitoring of suppliers against set criteria.
  • Provide adequate information, instruction, training, motivation and supervision to all staff to prevent
  • any possible pollution to the environment.
  • Regular audit of our internal processes.
  • Ensure the proper and most appropriate management of all wastes, therefore maximizing the
  • efficient use of natural and eco-friendly resources where-ever possible.
  • Investigate the feasibility of influencing our suppliers, clients and other stakeholders with a
  • consideration to life cycle and global impacts of our (mutual/joined) activities.
  • Compliance to contractual requirements associated with both local and international engagements.
  • Include the consideration of environmental issues in our business strategies and initiative meetings.
  • Top management reviews of audit results, customer feedback and complaints.

headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria.

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICY STATEMENT

ISO 14001-2015

At DECROWN West Africa Company Limited, we are fully aware of our responsibility and committed to
protecting the environment, both local and global. We are committed to reducing pollution, emissions and
waste, we will work closely with suppliers, clients and other stakeholders to encourage and promote
environmental issues. We will continuously seek to improve environmental performance, through regular
review of our policy and its impact on the environment. This will be monitored regularly and subject to
review during the quarterly management meetings.
In the Company’s commitment towards protecting the environment, we shall ensure our Environmental
Management System (EMS) delivers according to the existing local and international standards.
That said, we shall:

  • This Policy Statement will be communicated to all employees and is available to other stakeholders. The

DECROWN West Africa Company Limited is a leading indigenous Hydro-power Engineering and Renewable
Energy Development company providing services including feasibility studies, design review, and detailed
engineering design to clients in both the government and private sector.
Our primary commitment to our clients is to meet the objectives and requirements of the customer
specifications as defined in the client contracts. The management of DECROWN West Africa Company
Limited is committed to a continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) and any
associated activities, ensuring that all agreed Client requirements are fully met, also ensuring suitable
measures are reviewed and established and these quality objectives are fully understood by everyone in
the organization.
We are committed to apply, maintain and correspond to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 standard.
We have the following systems and procedures in place to support us in our aim of total customer
satisfaction and continuous improvement throughout our services:

  • Our internal procedures are reviewed regularly and are communicated and made available to all
  • stakeholders.
  • The Managing Director and Quality Manager are responsible for the management of the QMS. They shall
  • ensure that every Manager and Employee works towards the goals of the QMS, and that there are systems
  • in place to notify the QMS Manager if they find any area of the system to be failing or being neglected.
  • Overall accountability lies with the Managing Director who is responsible for ensuring that the QMS meets
  • the requirements of the strategic business objectives.
  • All Employees shall be required to work to the Company’s Quality System and its processes and
  • procedures.
