Project Description

The design and construction supervision of rehabilitation of the main components of Goronyo Dam – Main Spillway structures, Stilling Basin, Upstream and Downstream Slopes, relief wells including stabilisation of dam shoulders.

The Project consists of

• main dam with 5.2km crest length at 19m height
• secondary dam with 1.5km crest length at 12m height and
• the saddle dyke with 2.3km crest length at 9m height.

The dam has a reservoir capacity of 980MCM

Our role included Detail Design, Preparation of Construction drawings, Work Programming, Monthly Work Valuation and general direction of the works
